Welcoming Happy Chandara High School to Don Bosco Technical School Sihanoukville

On February 26, 2025, Don Bosco Technical School Sihanoukville had the pleasure of hosting a visit from Happy Chandara High School. A group of around 80 students and teachers spent half a day exploring our facilities, engaging with our staff, and learning about the technical training programs offered at our school.

This visit served as an excellent opportunity for the visiting students to gain a deeper understanding of the practical skills training available at Don Bosco Sihanoukville. Through guided tours and hands-on demonstrations, they were able to experience how our associate degree programs prepare young people for careers in hospitality, electricity, automotive technology, mechanical-welding, and secretarial work. These programs aim to provide underprivileged youth with valuable technical expertise and professional opportunities.

In addition to the school tour, the visit was filled with fun and friendship. Female students from both schools enjoyed a friendly volleyball match, fostering positive interaction and teamwork between our students and guests. The visitors also had a chance to taste delicious homemade ice cream prepared by our hospitality students, giving them a sweet sample of the practical skills being developed in our training programs.

We are delighted to see the interest and curiosity shown by the students of Happy Chandara High School, and we appreciate their teachers for encouraging this exploration of vocational education. Visits like this foster greater awareness about technical education pathways and help build stronger links between educational institutions dedicated to preparing young people for successful futures.

Don Bosco Technical School Sihanoukville warmly welcomes future visits from high schools across the region. We believe that strengthening partnerships and encouraging collaborative initiatives in education will ensure more students have access to quality technical training, opening doors to brighter prospects ahead.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Happy Chandara High School for their visit and look forward to future opportunities for collaboration.
