Blessing of the Relic and Statue of St. John Bosco

This week marked a special moment for the Don Bosco family in Preah Sihanouk Province, as we gathered in joy and gratitude to celebrate the blessing of the relic and statue of our beloved Father and Teacher, St. John Bosco.

This meaningful gift was made possible through the generous contribution of our students, whose spirit of generosity continues to strengthen and inspire our Salesian community.

May this sacred space become a lasting symbol of love, and unity — a place where members of the Don Bosco family and visitors can experience warmth, encouragement, faith, and the spirit of service following Don Bosco’s example.

We give thanks to God for His blessings and for all those who made this moment possible.

Second-Year Student Retreat(Theme: The Salesian Youth Spiritual Journey)

From July 23–25, the Salesian Youth Ministry of Don Bosco Sihanoukville organized a special retreat for second-year students, focusing on the theme of the Salesian youth’s inner journey. The event took place at Don Bosco Technical and Hotel School Sihanoukville.
The main goal of the retreat was to provide spiritual and personal formation for students who are about to complete their time at Don Bosco.
Activities included prayer, dancing, games, group sharing, meaningful reflections, and engaging discussions. It was a meaningful opportunity for the students to reflect on life: life with God, everyday life, community living, joy and optimism, and fulfilling responsibilities with a sense of purpose.
We extend our best wishes to all second-year students as they move forward — may they find success in their careers, build strong relationships in society, and live as honest citizens and faithful believers in their respective faiths.
