Welcoming Vithyalai Krong High School to Don Bosco Technical School Sihanoukville

On February 21, 2025, Don Bosco Technical School Sihanoukville had the pleasure of welcoming a group of approximately 40 students and teachers from Vithyalai Krong High School for a half-day visit. This visit provided a valuable opportunity for the students to explore the various training programs and see the equipment available at our school.

Through this visit, students gained firsthand insight into the technical training we offer, including associate degree programs in hospitality, electricity, automotive, mechanical-welding, and secretarial studies. These programs are designed to equip underprivileged students with the skills and knowledge necessary to secure meaningful employment and build a better future for themselves and their communities.

Beyond offering a learning experience, this visit also opened doors for stronger collaboration between Don Bosco Technical School and Vithyalai Krong High School. Strengthening partnerships between institutions is vital in expanding opportunities for technical education and ensuring that more young people have access to quality vocational training.

We sincerely thank the students and teachers of Vithyalai Krong High School for their visit and interest in our programs. We warmly welcome other high schools to visit Don Bosco Technical School Sihanoukville to learn more about our training programs and explore potential collaborations in the field of education. Together, we can continue to provide quality technical education to the next generation.

Gratitude to Salesian Mission Korea for Supporting Don Bosco Technical School Sihanoukville

We are deeply grateful to the group from South Korea, sent through the Salesian Mission in South Korea, for their generous support and collaboration with the students and teachers of Don Bosco Technical School Sihanoukville. Their hard work and dedication in painting the school road inside our compound have greatly contributed to enhancing our environment and improving safety for everyone.

This meaningful activity began on February 14 and continued for about a week, bringing together our students, teachers, and the South Korean volunteers in a spirit of teamwork and service. The freshly painted road not only adds beauty to our school surroundings but also plays a crucial role in guiding road usage within the compound. By marking clear directions and internal rules, it ensures that both visitors and members of our school community can navigate easily while minimizing the risk of accidents. This effort also helps maintain order and organization within our school premises.

We sincerely appreciate the time, effort, and generosity of our friends from South Korea. Their contribution reflects the true spirit of solidarity and strengthens the bond between our institutions. On behalf of the entire Don Bosco Sihanoukville community, we extend our heartfelt thanks for their kindness and support.

May this partnership continue to grow, fostering more opportunities for collaboration and mutual learning. Thank you once again for making a positive impact on our school and its future!
