MERRY CHRISTMAS 2022-SPORT BRING DON BOSCO FAMILY TOGETHER

Sihanoukville: This special occasion of celebrating the Christmas season at Don Bosco Technical School Sihanoukville, Fr.Eugene invited all the members of the Don Bosco Educative Community including past pupils to come together and celebrate the Christmas by expressing our love and appreciation through intensity of sports that energizing, cheerful, and deepening the Don Bosco family spirit.

We dedicate this full day of sports activity such as football, volleyball and basketball to all our family and those who sacrificed a lot for the well-being of other people, for poor children and young in Cambodia. Welcome everyone to join us from today (Dec 22, 2022) and also tomorrow morning with cultural programs prepared by our students.

DON BOSCO SIHANOUKVILLE RAISE AWARENESS ON “CLIMATE CHANGE”

Sihanoukville: Fr.Eugene Xalxo. SDB, Rector of Don Bosco Technical School Sihanoukville during occasion of year end celebration by raising awareness among the students and teachers about the impact of “Climate Change” . As as symbol of unity and gratitude toward our planet, father rector encourage second year students to plant trees before going to the company for their 3 months internship program then employment.

This tree planting will also as a memory for those second year students who is now on going for their employment and as as symbol of prosperity in the Cambodian society like these fresh trees will growth up and protecting this planet. Let us be united for the better world.

SAVE YOUR LIVER – THANKS TO LET US CREATE FUTURE

Sihanoukville: Leading by Dr. Francesca Cainelli, an Italian doctor from Let Us Create Futures organization. Thanks to Dr.Francesca and her team for this necessary contribution and concern for our students and staff health. This “Hepatitis Screening Day” will be last in two days from 25 till 26 August 2022.

Students and teachers safety and health is of the main priority for our school. Let us bring more awareness and conscious decision on health issues for the people within our community and home.

THA PROVINCIAL, FR. THEPHERAT PITISANT VISIT DON BOSCO SIHANOUKVILLE COMMUNITY

June 24, 2022 Don Bosco Sihanoukville have blessed by the visit of father provincial after more than 2 years because of Covid19 which prevented us from seeing each other. We welcomed Fr.Thepherat with the beautiful Khmer traditional dances performed by our technical students as well as the Children Home group.

During this special occasion, Fr. Thepherat encourage all of us to bring out and nurture goodness in oneself and come together for the better development of our society. Cambodia, Thailand and Lao, we are brothers and share a lot of things in common especially we could see the similarity in our traditional dances and I feel like I am in Thailand, he added.

After about 1 hour of the welcoming ceremony, father conduct the meeting with the Salesians community members, Fr. Eugene, Br. Roberto, Br. Martin as well as Br. Sarong. Then in the afternoon he continue meeting with the Don Bosco Sihanoukville teachers and staff. Thank a lot to Fr.Thepherat for his visit and motivation.

PHILIPPINE AMBASSADOR VISITS DON BOSCO TECHNICAL SCHOOL SIHANOUKVILLE

07 June 2022, Sihanoukville – The Philippine Embassy in Cambodia, Ambassador Maria Amelita C. Aquino visited the Don Bosco Technical School Sihanoukville as part of her activities in Sihanoukville.

During her visit, she has a opportunity to talk to the students, teachers and encourage them to continue their best in what they are doing because education and skill learning are the key factors for the development of Cambodia society. Don Bosco school is not only teaching skills to students but also values and characteristic, she added as what she learned about Don Bosco in Philippine.

FR.JOSEPH, THE REGIONAL COUNCILLOR OF EAO VISIT DON BOSCO SIHANOUKVILLE

Sihanoukville: We are blessed by Fr. NGUYEN Thinh Phuoc Joseph,Regional Councillor for East Asia – Oceania to Don Bosco Technical School Sihanoukville during the special occasion of Mary Help of Christians feast day. We are a part of a big family of Don Bosco, no matter where we are, how small or big we are and how different in our culture but we have something in common is Don Bosco spirit as well as our mother Mary, said Fr.Joseph.

His visit is a great honor and motivation for all of us both young people and teachers in Sihanoukville. As a son and daughter of Don Bosco, we will follow the spirit of Don Bosco to become a good citizen in our society.
